Picked up this Hurraw coconut lip balm because I’m on the hunt for a new moisturising lip balm but will only purchase organic products. In my last blogpost, I reviewed L’Occitane’s 100% Shea butter lipbalm. You can read about it here and in the next blogpost, I’ll be reviewing 100% Pure’s cherry lipbalm which you can read about it here.

I have finally found a coconut lipbalm that doesn’t smell overwhelmingly fake – it’s lightly scented. The weight of the balm is lightweight and relatively smooth to apply and it’s average in moisturising levels when it comes to one layer and it’s not as moisturising as the one I’m currently running out of(Bathetobasics lipbalm which they don’t sell online and they retail only in Hong Kong). When more layers of lipbalm are applied, it’s more moisturising hence it may prove to be time consuming if you lead a tight schedule/lifestyle.
Thus, in my opinion, it’s neither a disappointing nor a lifechanging product so I will consider repurchasing but in other flavours especially the SPF and the moon balm one as I’ve read positive reviews on the moon balm one as these two flavours seem to be catered to a specific end level of moisture and protection.
With a shelf life of 12 months after opening, retailing at $6.45 AUD from the Nourished Life website and as they come in a comparably huge variety of flavours, it’s worth a try if you’re up for it!
Thanks for reading – any advice/feedback is greatly appreciated!
