Too Faced Primed & Poreless primer review

Hey guys,

I recently purchased this primer from Mecca – this primer does have silicones which its counterpart TooFaced’s Hangover primer does not – however when I tried their Hangover primer instore, I did not find it to have any smoothing or moisturising effect on my skin after application so I did not purchase it.

I actually have a small sample pot of the primer because the sales assistant thought I wanted a sample instead of the full size product so that’s how I ended up with a small sample jar of the same primer I would buy in fullsize 10 mins later!

$44 AUD / 28 g from Mecca Maxima.

Despite the formula showing a beige salmon colour, It does not add a tint to the skin which means this primer will be efficient across a wider range of skintones and shades. This also means that it will not colour correct – fix up the appearance of redness

After 6 hours, my foundation started to clump up in areas on the face though not too sure if it’s the primer, the foundation or the powder. From far away it’s not too noticeable though.

Overall comments

Somewhat similar to the Benefit’s Porefessional, this primer provides a medium weight waxy layer whilst filling in pores on a medium level – pores are still visible though I don’t have really large pores to fill, any pores to be filled in would be the pores on my nose.

I don’t think I’ll be too keen on repurchasing as I feel like it doesn’t add a dramatic change to my whole skincare/makeup routine – this product didn’t really leave much of an impression on me.

Thanks for reading – any advice/feedback is greatly appreciated
