Trying to balance uni, work, social life and content creation is a short and long term struggle so I’m concerned about losing moisture and life from my skin (even though I’m in my early 20s but early prevention and maintenance is key) so I decided to pick up this collagen firming fibre mask from NEOGEN, a cruelty free Korean brand.
This collagen firming mask is ‘ a firming mask sheet containing nutritional essence to improve resilience and provide moisturised firmness to the skin’
What’s really great about their website is that in the product information section, they have a tab that says CLINICAL TEST RESULTs and when clicked open it reads,
- Completed Human Skin Irritation Test: Non-Irritant

As with most sheet masks, there’s no considerable difference to my skin after using this face mask. On the back of the mask packaging , it is recommended that this sheet face mask be used 2-3 times a week.
I purchased this from the Boniik store in Sydney and it was sold at $6 AUD slightly more pricier than the average price of face masks which generally are around $3-5 AUD so regular use of this mask may be costly.
This mask is cooling and soothing for about 5 mins upon application without placing it into the fridge beforehand and the mask moulds to the contours of the face quite well.
Overall, I would have to use this face mask for the recommended 2-3 times a week to make a solid decision but as of right now, I would repurchase due to the brand being cruelty free and the ingredients that it’s formulated without. HOWEVER, There is fragrance/parfum so if you have extra sensitive skin or are allergic to fragrance/parfum, this mask may not be for you.
