I’m back with another 3INA product review. I received this for free alongside my purchase of the other 3INA products because there was a buy 2, get a free eyeliner from 3INA deal at Adorebeauty. This eyeliner retails for $12.50 AUD on the AdoreBeauty website
UPDATE: They now stock 3INA products in Myer Sydney (accurate as of Wednesday 15th November 2017). I haven’t been to the 3INA stall yet but I saw an Instagram story of it.
The packaging of the eyeliner itself is light, leaving me to wonder if there’s much formula in the product.
As you can see from the image above, the line delivered by the eyeliner is not as pigmented, it seems about 70% dark.
WATER (AQUA), GLYCERIN, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, STYRENE/ACRYLATES/AMMONIUM METHACRYLATE COPOLYMER, BLACK 2 (CI 77266) [NANO], PVP, OLETH-20, PHENOXYETHANOL, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, SODIUM LAURETH-12 SULFATE, DEHYDROACETIC ACID, AMMONIUM HYDROXIDE
The only makeup item I’ve been struggling to find a cruelty free version for are liquid eyeliners as the current one I’m using have a waterproof and opaque formula delivered by gently shaped fine bristles which do not tug at my lashline. I’ve been using the Majolica Majorca gel liquid eyeliners for about a year now because I still have a few of them left. There’s not much information online as to whether Majolica Majorca is cruelty free but from what I can gather, they’re not as they’re managed by Shiseido who allows for animal testing where required by law. I’ve only used the brush tip with bristles type of liquid eyeliners since I started wearing eyeliner as I found the felt tip one.
What’s really good about the formula for this eyeliner is that there’s minimal ingredients (around 15 ingredients) and it’s been opthalmologically tested which means it’s been tested on a panel of volunteers.
However, I will not be repurchasing this eyeliner as it tugs at my lashline and the formula is not as opaque.
